Vaccinations

We routinely give childhood immunisations and also cater for travel vaccinations. Our Liverpool Surgery is an authorised Yellow Fever Vaccination Provider.

The General Practitioners at this practice mix bill. All patients who hold a Medicare Card. Overseas Visitors without Medicare are charged a $70.00 consultation fee. Bulk billing is provided to all patients aged under 16 years, aged pensioners, healthcare card holders, DVA, and disability pension card holders. Please show your current concession card each appointment. Bulk billing is also provided for all immunisation appointments, Care Plans, Mental Health Plans and Health Assessments. After Hours/Home Consults

Home Visits are available for regular patients of this Practice whose condition prevents them form attending the surgery during normal surgery hours. Please call (02) 9602 8555

Interpreter Service/NABS

We have access to an Interpreter through TIS, and to assistance for hearing impaired patients through NABS. Please enquire at Reception if an interpreter or access to NABS is required.

Non-Smoking Policy

Change To Consultation Fees As Of 1st March 2023

Our practice has been exclusively bulk billing since it was established in 1975.  However, due to increased costs associated with delivering the highest quality of services, this transition was necessary to continue providing you and your family with the highest quality of healthcare.

From 1st March 2023, Liverpool Medical Centre will be transitioning to MIXED –BILLING consultations. As such, patients will incur $35.00 gap payment regardless of the consultation duration.

We will continue to bulk bill patients aged under 16 years; aged pensioners and Healthcare card holders; DVA and disability pension card holders. Please show your current concession card at each appointment.

Bulk billing will also continue to be provided for all immunisation appointments, Care Plans, Mental Health Plans and Health assessments.

We accept EFTPOS, credit card and cash. Please ensure you update your bank account details with your Medicare account to allow the rebate to be paid into your account by Medicare within 48 hours. For your convenience, we will lodge rebate claims with Medicare Online at the time of your appointment if payment is made via EFTPOS.
